Thank You - My Fellow Mom!

Happy new week! I hope your weekend was restful, relaxing, fun, and peaceful.

Since the end of the school year has approached us, I just wanted to take some time today on the blog to commend all of you moms out there (and yes, me included) that you did the dawg on thing this past year. I mean…for real for real! Due to the pandemic, along with all of the social injustices, political season, and the list goes on and on and on and on.

Mom – you killed it! This past year, we were operating in a lot of roles in addition to the ones we already operate in. We’ve been the teacher, assistant teacher, lunch lady, custodian, PE teacher, and so forth.

Thank you for not giving up! Thank you for sticking with it! Thank you for showing up!

I know it has not been easy, but my God today……He kept us! One of my favorite scriptures I like to reference is Isaiah 40:29: He gives power to the faint, and to them that have no might, He increaseth strength. So just when you think you are getting to the point of wanting to quit, remember that He gives you the strength to continue and see it through!
