I know us BUSY Moms are out here trying to get everything that needs to be done, and some of those things, may include your social media marketing for your brand. So today, I want to talk about 4 Common Mistakes With Social Media Marketing That’s Costing You The Most Coins as a Boss Mom!
#1 COIN TIP:
Not having a target audience/avatar is totally costing you the most. Do you know who they are? Do you know where they like to hang out online? You need to be talking directly to your target audience. By doing so, will cause them to be engaged, loyal followers.
#2 COIN TIP:
Are you on the right social media platform? You can create product after product, course after course, webinar after webinar, but if you’re on Pinterest when you are suppose to be on YouTube or on LinkedIn when you’re supposed to be on Instagram, you kinda know how this will all end right? The clients that are suppose to connect with you won’t be able to even find you because you are not even on the right platform.
#3 COIN TIP:
Brand consistency is key. Take a look at all of your social media platforms. Do they all look the same or all they all different? You can recognize me, Kimberly Gumbs on every platform because of the colors of my brand and my tone…..it stays the same or at least VERY similar depending on the platform I’m on. So the same should be for you. Make sure you keep your brand consistent.
#4 COIN TIP:
Use the features that are available to you on the social media platform(s) you are on. If you’re on LinkedIn, it’s all about connections. If you’re on Facebook, it’s all about the ads, groups, and videos. If you’re on Instagram, is all about stories and reels right now, so you basically get where I’m going. Make sure you know the features that are on each platform that your brand is on, so that you can maximize your experience on there.
