Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind At Epcot

I hope you all were able to have an amazing Mother’s Day weekend! I know I have.

On Mother’s Day yesterday, I got the wonderful opportunity of experiencing Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind at Epcot for Walt Disney World’s Annual Passholder Preview.

And all I have to say is OMG!

First, here are some initial facts and things to know about this ride:

🚀 It’s located in World Discovery at Epcot

🚀 Must be 42in or taller

🚀 It’s one of the largest fully-enclosed coasters in the world

🚀 When it officially opens on May 27th, guests will either need to join the virtual queue or purchase individual Lightning Lane entry in order to experience the attraction.

Now for my Review!

While in line, you’ll have the chance to see the amazing decor, music, and videos. The line appeared to be dreadfully long when we first got in line, however, to our surprise, it was a continual moving line. Once we got to load up on the ride, it was for sure smooth sailing from there! The ride was fast, had a reverse launch, and played great music on the ride (by the way, each time you ride, there will be a different song playing). There are total of 6 songs.

My eight-year old LOVED the ride, however my five-year old was not too fond of the ride. So if you have little ones, be sure to gauge their interest on the ride.

Prior to me riding this on yesterday, I saw reports that people were feeling a nauseous from the ride. In my party, the majority of us were fine. I got off of it feeling slightly dizzy and my eight-year old had a slight headache afterwards, but was fine a few minutes afterwards. So just as a precaution, if you are prone to get any kind of motion sickness, be sure to take the necessary steps to prevent any motion sickness before you get on.

So overall, through the dips, turns, launches, and all of the music – it was a really, great ride! It exceeded my expectations. I can’t wait to ride it again! Go check out some of my gallery below.
