Happy Monday ya’ll and Happy April! ?

It’s a new month – new season – new quarter! Anyone else glad to be entering a new season? I know I am!

Lately, my family has been in a season where we have been losing family members, so we’ve definitely been grieving. In the past 7 months alone, we have lost 4 family members.

I know losing someone is never easy. It always puts things into prospective – like seeing what’s really important in life and what’s not.

And being a busy mom, life still goes on, and it must go on.

You know how I strongly believe that your words have power, because death and life are in the power of tongue (Proverbs 18:21). So today, I want to share with you, busy mom, something that will help you if you are ever grieving, because this truly has helped me.

This is a faith confession that I am sharing from Apostle I.V. Hilliard. He is a man of faith like no other. So take time to read and speak the confession below if ever you find yourself to be grieving.

The Grieving Affirmation

Father, I thank You for the comforting ministry of the Holy Spirit who never leaves me or forsakes me. I thank You for Your Word that encourages me to let not my heart be troubled. I believe in You and I believe Your Word that says You will never leave me nor forsake me. I thank You that I do not sorrow as those who have no hope because I know that I will see my loved one again. I come against the spirit of grief that tries to overshadow Your joy in my life. Your Word says that weeping may endure for the night, but joy comes in the morning. Father, thank You that You have given me beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning and the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness right now. Thank You for Your joy. Jesus You came to heal the brokenhearted therefore, I thank You for healing my broken heart and only You can heal my sorrow. I ask You Lord to comfort me because You love me and have promised me everlasting consolation, joy and hope through Your grace in Jesus’ name, Amen.

I hope this has helped you as it has helped me.
