Happy Monday!

It’s a start of a new week. And with that, I want you to have the most, productive week ever! And in order to do that, I want to equip you with how to get your week set up for success.

What helps me have a successful, productive week, is how I prep for the week during the weekend,

So this week, I’ll be giving you Week Prep Routine for The Busy Mom.

Side note: These are in no particular order.

Order Groceries

  • One of the things I do to prep for the upcoming week, is to make my grocery list and order groceries. I first plan my meals for the week, then I assess what we already have in our pantry/kitchen/refrigerator so I won’t double order. During this pandemic, I’ve been mainly ordering my groceries which has been both a time and money saver.

Laundry

  • I typically wash clothes over the weekend and “try” to get them folded as well. But moms, you know sometimes how it can get, when you just stare at the pile of laundry that must be folded right?! LOL Try to get those clothes folded right away so you won’t end up with loads on loads on loads to complete.

Iron Kids’ Clothes For The Week

  • Now, this one doesn’t always get done EVERY weekend, but it is one thing that I do like to get done when I am able to. Ironing the kids’ clothes is definitely a time saver from the weekday morning routines.

Check Kids’ School Work

  • I like to check any correspondence from the kids’ teachers, whether it’s via email or what’s been sent back in their folders. This helps me make sure the kids’ are on task and are set up for a successful school week.

Check Calendar/Schedule

  • Before the weekend is over, I like to check my calendar and schedule for the upcoming week. By doing this, I am able to see the upcoming week’s activities, meetings, appointments, and/or events.
  • Another tip with this, is to go over your calendar/schedule with your spouse so that both of you are on one accord with everything that has to happen for the week. Talkin’ bout a stress reliever?! This will definitely help alleviate some unnecessary stress from your week. You can also check out this post where I go more into detail with communicating with your spouse the upcoming week’s happenings.

I hope you find my Week Prep Routine for The Busy Mom for the upcoming week to be helpful for you! Do you also have a weekend prep routine? Let me know in the comments?

Love,
