Happy Monday busy moms!  I hope you all had a restful, enjoyable weekend.

On this week’s blog, I wanted to show you How To Set Your Child(ren) Up For A Successful Week. Ask yourself these questions?

-Are my kids set up for a successful week?

-Do you know their meals and snacks for the week?

-Do you know what they are wearing this week?

-Have you updated your family calendar?

I get it……being a mom, wife, boss, and everything else can be A LOT at times. But being a productive mom, wife, and boss can make your life so much easier. Here are 5 ways that have helped me set my children up for a successful week, and I know for sure it will help you too!

How To Set Your Child(ren) Up For A Successful Week

1 – Prep For Their School Week

-Every Sunday, I check their backpacks and check for any notices/announcements, homework and/or projects that could have been brought home. My kids’ teachers send out their weekly emails on Sundays, so I look to receive those on those days, which help me prepare my kids for their week in school.

2 – Lay Out Their Clothes

-Whether you choose to lay out their clothes the night before or all of their clothes at the beginning week, whichever option you choose, will cause you to have one less thing to do off of your to do list.  This is definitely a golden nugget right here because this frees up so much mind space – you don’t have to think about what your kid(s) will need to wear everyday, and it will definitely save you time in the mornings.

3 – Meal Planning

-Meal Plan that thang! Listen – if you are trying to help your kids have a successful week, be sure to have a meal plan.  Knowing all the kids’ snacks and meals makes your week even better!

4 – Print out any Paperwork Your Kids May Need

-If your kids have any assignments, homework, projects, and/or field trip forms, be sure to print them out. Once they have been printed, be sure to go over them thoroughly.

5 – Update Your Family Calendar As Needed

-Update your family calendar as needed to include any school/teacher meetings, after school activities, appointments, or anything else the kids might have that may be going on. This helps me and the hubby stay on one accord, and also allows the kids to see what they have going on for the week as well. You also want to make sure you calendar any important items such as: tests, assignments due dates, etc.

I hope these tips are helpful for your  child(ren) to have a successful week this week!
