Hey ya’ll! I hope you have been doing better than ever, and if not, I hope that things do get better for you.
It’s still the month of May, so if you’ve been following me, we are still celebrating Mom’s month (you know….since Mother’s Day is in the month of May).
On this week’s blog, I wanted to give you 4 simple self-care ideas for you, the busy mom! At times, we are so busy, we forget to actually take care of ourselves. You can not pour from empty cup, so you do need to have self-care as a priority. Here’s:
4 SIMPLE SELF-CARE IDEAS FOR BUSY MOMS
1 – Keep your health a priority: Be sure to schedule all of your annual appointments that you will need. These can range from your primary care physician, to your ob/gyn, to your eye doctor, and so forth. Let’s be proactive with our physical and mental well-being and not reactive.
2 – Drink your water and Keep a healthy diet: Now, let me be the first to tell you that I am definitely working on this myself. Definitely not something that is easy for me but I’m working on it, so I can be the best version of me, and you should too!
3 – Girl, go to sleep: Yep, I said it. Get ?? your ?? sleep! On Supermom Cultures’s instagram, they recently posted a good quote stating the following: “Sis, breathe…there is no award for overworked female of the year”. And if that’s not the truth, I don’t know what to tell you. Be sure to get your rest. Nobody wants to be around a cranky person that hasn’t been able to get their sleep. #ijs ??♀️
4 – Schedule your YOU time: Make sure you make time for the things you enjoy – things like your hobbies, binge watching shows and movies, journaling, your business, your self-maintenance like hair, nails, and massages, meditating, and praying. Whatever it is that you like, don’t forget to put YOU on the calendar.
