OMG?! We are literally in March already!  This time, last year, was right before everything had to shut down due to the pandemic. Since we’ve been in this pandemic, time seems to be going slow yet fast at the same dang on time. How sway?! From the pandemic, to the social injustices, to all of the political craziness happening….ALOT has been going on for us #busymoms.

From having to become a teacher, PE coach, art teacher, music teacher, lunch lady along with already being a wife, mom, employee/business owner, and the list just goes on and on and on and on….we’ve literally had to juggle so much this year.

So that’s why this week, I want to focus on YOU! Yep, that’s right YOU!

You know this is the time of year, people start their Spring Cleaning. So for this week, I am going to be focusing on Spring Cleaning: Mom Self-Care Edition.

Moms, how many of you know that if you don’t have yourself together, you can’t be of help to anyone. Like I said before, you can not pour out of an empty vessel. Your vessel must first be filled.

So here are some ways you can take care of yourself so that you can fully operate the way God would have you to operate in.

1 – Spend Time With God

-He’ll lead you and guide you into all truth.

-Pray and saturate yourself with the Word (the Bible).

2 – Speak Over Yourself

-You have whatever YOU say, so it’s important to speak over yourself, and speak what you want to see in your life.

-Start speaking some daily confessions over yourself and get with consistent with it. You’ll definitely see a change.

3 – Brain Dump

-Listen, as busy moms, we have 10 million things going on in our heads at any given moment, so it’s crucial that you set aside some time throughout your week to brain dump. You need to get all of those thoughts in your head down on some paper.

-When you brain dump, you’ll have more clarity in your week.

4 – Pamper Yourself

-Set aside time for YOU! Whether that’s getting a massage, getting your hair and nails done, eyebrows done, watching your favorite show/movie, whatever it is for you, DO IT!

-Make this a non-negotiable. Take care of you, so you can take care of your family.

I hope these have been helpful!  Let me know some of the things you are going to incorporate into your self-care spring cleaning this year.

Love,
